I have become more appreciative of the gradual flow and change of the seasons.  The geese return, then the sandhill cranes, then the wild plums bloom, then the leaves appear on the choke cherries, then lilacs bloom.  Later on the Russian olives leaf out and bloom.  With planting done, it is a slower time until haying starts in June and things get busier in July with more haying and harvest time.
